Ammonite Falls is in Benson Creek Regional Park in central Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. Access from Highway 19 via Jingle Pot Road, then either Jameson Road to Creekside Place or Biggs/Weigles Road.
From Creekside Place: Take Jingle Pot Road → Kilpatrick Road → Jameson Road → right onto Creekside Place. Park in designated lot only.
From Weigles Road: Take North Jingle Pot exit → right onto Biggs Road (becomes Weigles Road). Park in designated area.
Yes. Ammonite Falls and Benson Creek Falls are two names for the same waterfall. “Ammonite” refers to the ancient marine fossils found in the surrounding rock.
Yes. A viewing platform and staircase provide safe access to the base of the falls. The Creekside Place trail is well-marked and suitable for children, though sections can be muddy.
