A Quick Highlight Of The Trip
One of the incredible things about being in Nanaimo is how easy catching a ferry to horseshoe bay is when taking a little trip up the sea to sky highway to whistler. Not only is the drive one of the most remarkable drives in the world, there are so many amazing places to stop and marvel at the natural beauty of this world.
It blows my mind to think that Whistler is only 4 hours away… shorter than the trips I used to take from NYC to Vermont for a quick snowboard weekend. And though Vermont will always have a sweet spot in my heart, Whistler Blackcomb is on a whole other level.
Last time we visited was for a snowboard trip back in 2021 when we bought our home on Vancouver Island. Seeing the mountains in the summer is an entirely different experience!
